Digital Art / Photomanipulation / Pop Art

Rorschach done in homage to Shepard Fairey's Obama poster. This design has been replicated to death, but I just thought it would be fun to do it.

It's funny how one image inspires so many others, and the fine line between homage and plagiarism gets blurred. For an interesting read, check out Milton Glaser's comments on Fairey's methods: [link]

You bring up some interesting thoughts on Hope vs. Fear. Rorschach and Obama are polar opposites. On one end you have a leader advocating change in hope of a better future. The other, a cynical social outcast, believes the world is a cesspool and that a significant positive change cannot truly be made.

PS: I recommend reading the graphic novel before watching the film, if you're interested in the story at all.
